Assistant Warehouse Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive all incoming products

Unload inbound shipments from trucks

Verify and complete the delivery receipt. Note damaged or shortage on the delivery receipt and have the driver's initials

Complete all receiving processes in an accurate and efficient manner

Stock received products to the staging area

Complete Replenishment Working Order

Manage stock locations on existing items for correct bin size and location

Report inventory and damages to the manager

Keep the location areas organized

Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner

Communicate warehouse concerns and safety issues to the warehouse manager

Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures

Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

Other duties as assigned by management SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse

Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent time management skills

Drug Screening will be REQUIRED PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.

Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time. EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

High School diploma or equivalent required

1+ years of warehouse experience WORK CONDITIONS:

Office and warehouse environment

Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time
