PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Develops Industry Business and manage the Industry Department commercially.
Leads the Marketing and Sales functions of Bureau Veritas industry Business Line, especially in Mining Construction (Project Management, Construction Management, QHSE Management & QMS.
Develops a Marketing and Sales strategy to increase market share and profitability, including but not limited to proposing, developing and implementing marketing plans, market trend analyses, pricing policies, establishing networks
Knows in-depth the Clients in Indonesia, their needs, expectations and levels of satisfaction and increase sales per client
Organizes and controls implementation of marketing and sales tactics.
Prepares proposals and conduct technical and commercial sales negotiations
Develops sales networks
Handles major sales and negotiation
Leads and controls the performance of the department activities, including any planning and review, and the management of the department staff.
that adequately skilled resources are available in accordance with the requirements of the Client
Liaises with the Technical Department in the BV Network in identifying new opportunities for products and to assist in new product development
COMMERCIAL:
Manages the timely submittal of proposals, pre-qualifications through efficient use of clerical and/or administrative staff
Develops its line of business with the object to identifying the potential market, its tendencies, the competitors and the resources available, operating all the necessary sources of information and developing the commercial law actions.
Manages the sales & marketing department in the most effective and efficient manner
Manages and co-ordinates the management of Local and Global Key Accounts
Implements BV pricing tools
Obtains, manages and disseminates information about competitors
Identifies new business opportunities, develops marketing strategies and sales plans
Maintains historical databases to be able to identify market trends, client histories, etc.
Develops sales and marketing materials
Generates periodic reports regarding market trends, sales, etc.
Knows in depth the clients in its area, manages client’s relations, their needs, expectation and their level of satisfaction
Supports other business lines with sales and marketing expertise
PRODUCT AND MARKET DEVELOPMENT:
Leads strategic choices and launches new products at country/regional level
Coordinates with the Manager of the Technical Center Kuala Lumpur that the product/service requirements are sufficiently clear and suitable for presentation to the Clients
Develops and maintains project estimating database to ensure consistency in estimations and in developing a history of estimating data for future projects
Maintains close relationship with Technical Center in Regional regarding new products and services
MANAGEMENT AND CO-ORDINATION:
Manages the BL team of the country in terms of commercial development, management of BV services.
Follows up the financial processes of the activity.
Makes people contribute to knowledge management and best practices sharing
CO-ORDINATION:
Coordinates with operational, and technical departments of the BV Network that adequate resources are available
