Die Cutting Machine Operator

Job Description
We are currently looking for individuals with roll fed die cut machine operating experience.
$20/hr DOE 6:00AM-4:00PM M-Th occasional Fridays. We are a closed campus and you will be required to stay on location for lunch. There is a cafeteria is on location, as well as a gym.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS OF THE POSITION:. Candidates, there is a strong possibility you could be moved to second shift once a second shift within the next 6 months to a year.
• Clear jams in the cutter, stripper and delivery section.
• Implement written procedures and work instructions
• Operate production equipment • Focus to keep the machine running
• Lead packer within the work area
• Read job order to set up and run the job
• Complete production paperwork
• Perform and have responsibility for
• Provide feedback to management on opportunities for improvement for the work cell
• Product quality, inspection and approval of product
• Perform PMs as per PM schedule
• Responsible for the safety of the work area, safety rules followed and equipment guards are working properly
• Lift 30 pounds
• Train associates to the job duties
• Perform other duties as assigned •
General Housekeeping in machine area
Dress code: We strictly enforce this at all times. Jean or khaki material (pants or shorts, shorts must be knee length), No cut-off shirts, tank tops, muscle shirts etc. Shirts must have a minimum of 4"sleeve length. No vulgar or explicit language or images allowed. Baseball caps and beanies are allowed.
