**Job Title: RME - Mechatronics and Robotics Technician II**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
+ Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.
+ Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Utilize electrical knowledge of basic components for troubleshooting.
+ Identify and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
+ Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive & preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
+ 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
+ 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
+ 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
+ High school or equivalent diploma.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations.
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Continuous improvement mindset.
+ Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
+ Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years of experience working with PLC based controls systems.
+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

**Work Environment**
This role is located in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Candidates should be comfortable with their performance being tracked by data and numbers and must be open to walking 10,000 steps per day and handling 49 lbs at a time. All candidates must be open to any 10-hour shift as positions are available for all shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
