The Role

Within the Business Development Representative (BDR) role focused on Partner alliances, we support the Channel Partner teams by assisting them through strategic prospecting efforts and partner enablement for pipeline generation efforts. The Partner Business Development Representative represents the full portfolio of BeyondTrust products and services and engaged with and to assigned partners, driving partner enablement and engagement to ensure business growth.

What You’ll Do

Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities

Nurture early-stage opportunities

Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing BT customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory

Partner with Channel Managers and channel partners to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas

Identify key decision makers within new accounts

Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience

Maintain active engagement with new and existing customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in BT

Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities

Enter prospect information into Salesforce.

Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue.

Follow up Partner event Deal Registrations and Leads

Train and share best practice for prospecting with channel partners

Run virtual or on site call out activities with channel partners

Assist channel partners and channel managers with prospecting by sharing intent information across customer and prospect databases

What You’ll Bring

1-2 years experience in business development, sales or related field experience

Ability to work in a fast paced environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work

Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts that are a hybrid of net-new and existing install

Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Personality to establish and maintain strong relationships with sales teams you support and become a valued partner to them.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and maximize efficiency.

Effective listener to understand prospect needs.

Strong organizational skills.

Strong desire to be in technology sales

Strong problem-solving skills

High energy and positive attitude

Ability to take initiative and coaching

Solid phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Have

Experience and/or knowledge working with Channel and Partner teams

Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool

Familiarity with Software/Cybersecurity
