**Job Title: Maintenance Technician II**

**Job Description**

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your expertise to assist the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. This role offers the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Additionally, you will mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and grow in their roles.

**Responsibilities**

+ Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

+ Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.

+ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.

+ Maintain positive working relationships across all departments within the Operations facility.

+ Track and store department inventory.

+ Move up to 49lbs, as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

**Essential Skills**

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

+ 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.

+ 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

+ 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication.

+ 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

+ 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

+ Proficiency in using a multimeter.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college focusing on the Mechanical or Electrical field.

+ 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

+ Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.

+ Project Management experience.

+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

+ Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

**Work Environment**

The role requires the ability to reach arms above the head, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment. Tasks may require wearing a mask, face shield, and composite-toed boots. The position involves movement between departments, floors, and properties, with walking distances of 6 to 12 miles per day. Work takes place in an environment with fluctuating temperatures, and regular use of a computer or stand-up desk is required for 1-2 hours per day.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $71572.80 - $71572.80/yr.
