**Job Title: Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. Additionally, you will train and mentor both service and contract technicians, fostering their growth and development.
**Responsibilities**
+ Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems within the facility.
+ Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
+ Create, assign, and close out work orders, capturing data such as labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
+ Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
+ Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills.
+ Maintain positive working relationships across all departments in the Operations facility.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
+ 4+ years conducting preventative maintenance.
+ 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
+ 3+ years using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
+ Experience in a team lead capacity, supporting, training, and mentoring less experienced technicians.
+ Previous vendor management experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

**Work Environment**
This role requires physical demands including reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps/ladders, and using an aerial lift. You must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. You will work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and be required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day. Movement between departments, floors, and properties is necessary, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day.
