CMM Programmer

Fast Growing Precision Machine Shop servicing the Defense and Aerospace Industry seeks an experience CMM programmer with proven experience working with Calypso software. This role will also perform a smaller degree of manual mechanical inspection work as well. This business unit on the west side of Portland is the most profitable division of a larger parent company with aggressive forecasts for growth. What You Will Do

Programs CMM Equipment with Calypso software and associated inspection

Creates part setup plans for CMM

Provides feedback to machine shop and engineering for adjustments as required

Performs measurement inspection of parts, including AS9102 First Article Inspection

Documents nonconformances as they are discovered

Assists Quality Assurance with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Communicates effectively with inspectors, machinists, and engineering teams

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Education: High School diploma

Proficiency with GD&T

3+ years programming CMM's with Calypso software

Working experience in AS9100 or equivalent quality system

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
