Project Overview

We are seeking a visionary Senior Platform Architect with deep expertise in website content delivery within Microsoft ecosystems to lead enterprise-wide digital architecture initiatives. This role is critical in aligning technology strategy with business objectives—focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performing ecosystems that power digital content experiences across platforms.

The ideal candidate will architect and oversee the delivery of modern content solutions, driving enterprise integration, data governance, and innovation across the digital content lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Architecture Leadership

Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategy focused on content and digital experience platforms.

Define architecture principles, roadmaps, and governance models aligned with business and digital transformation goals.

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic guidance on enterprise-scale technology implementations.

Platform Design & Integration

Lead evaluation, selection, and architectural design of enterprise-grade solutions (e.g., IIS, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore).

Architect robust, scalable content delivery integrations with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, analytics, marketing automation).

Enable omnichannel content delivery via headless CMS, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.

Governance & Standards

Establish and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and security protocols.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP).

Lead architecture reviews and provide oversight across program and project lifecycles.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architecture.

Facilitate architecture governance boards and maintain documentation of architectural decisions and assets.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and frameworks.

Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts, technology assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Champion adoption of modern digital experience platforms and tools.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in content delivery ecosystems.

Deep expertise in:

.NET Core/.NET Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and SOLID principles

Microsoft technologies including C# and VB

Cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

API design, microservices, content delivery networks (CDN), and digital asset management (DAM) systems

Familiarity with front-end frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS) and backend microservices architecture (NodeJS, Spring Boot)

Strong grasp of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native development

Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Power BI experience

Experience in regulated industries (government, healthcare, higher education)

Familiarity with:

Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)

SEO best practices
