Warranty Service Technician

We are currently representing a Fortune 500, large developer who is looking to hire a Warranty Service Technician for their team! Our client has several communities throughout Northern Virginia!

As a Warranty Service Technician, this individual is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction among homeowners.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine if they are warrantable items

Facilitate all customer warranty requests and schedule subcontractors to make repairs

Process written or electronic tickets from the supervisor for homeowner repairs

Perform minimal and necessary repairs to homes such as drywall, small spackle jobs, texture repair, and/or painting (as needed)

Ensure all repairs are completed within compliance standards

Certify warranty work is completed within contractor obligations

Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors and homeowners

Resolve any issues from customers after the closing of the home

Perform follow ups with homeowners to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

3 or more years of industry related experience preferred (ex. carpentry work, drywall, texture repair and/or painting)

Previous customer service experience preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic software

Ability to empathize with customers and provide exceptional customer service

Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
