Assisting our client in finding and Senior Process Controls Engineer in the Manufacturing Industry
About the Role:
This is Direct Hire, professional position responsible for the continuous improvement of plant processes, control systems, and equipment upgrades/replacement. Ensures that the facility is capable of manufacturing and finishing our products in the most efficient manner with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and fine-tune machine control programs on existing equipment and new equipment to optimize reliability and performance.
Analyze plant processes, design, and implement improvements.
Assist Maintenance when needed for troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
Collaborate with the Engineering team on new equipment purchases and installations.
Lead integrator for new equipment installations for controls, E-stop circuitry and layout, and integration.
Maintain and upgrade SCADA and Data Collection systems.
Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.
Other reporting and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, Electro/Mechanical engineering required.
5+ years related experience required.
Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.
Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
Technical proficiency in Rockwell Automation RSLogix5000/Studio5000 and Factory View software applications and networking.
3 years’ experience programming and tuning Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi servo systems.
Mitsubishi PLC/Control Software and robotics experience (or willing to learn).
Experience with setting up SCADA systems and programming of the system (Ignition by Inductive Automation is a plus).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Accountability for performance.
Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology.
Written and oral communication proficiency. Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
