Engineering Manager

Great opportunity for an Engineering Manager to work for a global manufacturing leader located in the York, PA area.

Our client is diversified leader on a global scale specializing in Automotive, RV, and Marine components looking for an Engineering Manager to be responsible for the engineering design team, current and future product projects, and leading the design and testing of HVAC systems and components for commercial and recreational vehicle applications.

Responsibilities

Creating engineering documents including detail drawings, assembly drawings, & BOMs.

Final approval of engineering drawings, documents, and ECNs.

Employee management

Project management

Working knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes.

Understanding general principles of refrigeration and HVAC.

Creating models using 3D SolidWorks.

Creating schematics using 2D SolidWorks.

Performing components and system testing and troubleshooting.

Selecting components to meet applicable specifications/standards.

Revise/improve current products via the ECN process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Proficient in AutoCAD/Solidworks

Proven leadership experience in a similar manufacturing setting
