Position: Data Analyst

Duration: 1-year contract with potential to hire or extensions

Location: Columbus, OH 43215 (Onsite Monday-Friday, parking is free!)

Hours: Normal 8-5

Pay Rate: $30-40/hour

Must-Haves:

Education: Bachelor's or associate's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst with 3-4 years of experience building dashboards in Power BI.

Skills: Proficient in data cleaning, fixing structural errors, formatting, removing duplicates, extracting, and discovering patterns.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Python).

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify data needs and ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular audits and validations.

Documentation: Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Skills:

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis.

Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
