Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial & Multifamily Construction

Overview:

A respected general contractor active throughout the Southeast is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and multifamily construction projects in the Raleigh area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with an emphasis on schedule, budget, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all phases of construction projects, including planning, procurement, and execution

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans

Coordinate with field superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations

Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and progress reports

Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and support field teams

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing commercial and/or multifamily construction projects

Experience with ground-up builds, including podium, wrap, and garden-style developments

Proficient in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
