Job Description
Our client is a telecommunications company looking for a Remedy Engineer to join their outage management team. The team has two instances of Remedy – one is an out of the box solution that manages CRQs, incidents, and work orders, and the other is a customized solution that tracks events and provides proactive notifications to their subscriber base if there will be any service interruptions.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
o Evaluate incidents with detailed RCA process that led to specific actions and ongoing improvement.
o Maintain detailed records of events and impacted technical areas to find and act on trends. o Support outages and events across the enterprise network
o Support internal Remedy application including feature development/enhancement, change requests, work orders, event management, etc.
o Design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
o Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
o Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
o Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
o Work in an on-call rotation for one week every seven weeks
The pay rate for this role varies depending on level and years of experience and will range from $75-$80/hour.
