About the Position:
As a Project Architect at The Redmond Company, you will play a pivotal role in leading design operations and managing resources for medical office and clinic projects. This position offers an opportunity to lead projects from initial concept to construction documentation, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations while maintaining high standards of design quality and client satisfaction. While this role will initially focus primarily on medical office and clinic projects, there will be future opportunities to expand into office, financial, and automotive sectors based on project demands and professional interest.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ professional architectural experience with a strong background in medical office and/or clinic-related projects. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, the ideal candidate will be licensed in at least one U.S. state and have proficiencies in Revit, AutoCAD, Newforma, and Microsoft Office Suite.
What You’ll Do:
Lead design operations and manage resources for assigned medical office and clinic projects.
Develop initial concept plans and oversee projects through construction documentation.
Coordinate consultant activities and manage consultant contracts effectively.
Mentor and lead 1–2 design team members to foster professional growth and project efficiency.
Cultivate positive client relationships and participate in business development activities.
Ensure adherence to design standards, quality control measures, and project schedules.
Review and monitor construction documentation, RFIs, shop drawings, and project budgets.
Support and mentor junior staff pursuing licensure and career development.
