We are seeking a Mid-Level AEM Full-Stack Engineer to develop and enhance our eCommerce platform using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role requires a blend of backend and frontend expertise, ensuring seamless content delivery, performance optimization, and integration with modern web technologies. You will work closely with UX designers, business teams, and developers to build scalable AEM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance AEM components, templates, workflows, and content models to support business needs.
Implement both backend (Java, OSGi, Sling Models) and frontend (Sightly/HTL, JavaScript, CSS) features within AEM.
Customize and configure AEM workflows, user management, and security settings.
Work closely with UX and design teams to build responsive, interactive, and accessible web experiences.
Integrate AEM with third-party services, APIs, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security across AEM implementations.
Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues, providing support when needed.
Follow Agile development methodologies, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Utilize CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven) to automate deployments and testing.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in AEM development, with expertise in AEM 6.x.
Solid knowledge of AEM architecture, including OSGi, Sling, JCR, Apache Felix, and Lucene indexing.
Experience in AEM Core Components, DAM Asset Management, and Content Fragments.
Strong Java/J2EE programming skills, with hands-on experience in Sling Models and OSGi bundles.
Proficiency in frontend technologies like Sightly/HTL, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus).
Familiarity with AEM SPA templating and front-end integrations.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
Basic SQL knowledge and an understanding of Linux-based environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot AEM issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
AEM Developer Certification is a plus.
