Hybrid Software Engineer (AI Engineer)

Location: Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000

Experience: 1+ years required

We’re seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong Python expertise to help us ensure the performance, accuracy, and reliability of our AI systems. You’ll play a key role in designing, running, and improving automated test cases and QA workflows, supporting high-quality product development at every stage.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test cases for AI and data-driven systems

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure test coverage

Identify, track, and troubleshoot issues throughout the development lifecycle

Contribute to the design of QA processes and continuous improvement of test frameworks

Help validate data integrity and processing pipelines

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Python

Experience with data processing and large-scale data systems

Solid understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, unittest)

Familiarity with modern QA workflows, tools, and best practices

Must be based in Los Angeles — remote candidates will not be considered

Must have BS / CS degree.
