Responsibilities
Collaborate with external engineering firms, technology providers, and equipment vendors to design and develop new Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) production facilities.
Partner with the RNG Operations Manager and Plant Operators to enhance performance at operating sites—focusing on safety, efficiency, and increased RNG output.
Contribute to the planning, budgeting, coordination, and strategic oversight of the RNG portfolio, both short- and long-term.
Support the evaluation and advancement of new RNG project opportunities.
Serve as a key liaison with strategic partners, service providers, and the broader renewable energy team.
Oversee engineering contractors and consultants; collaborate with Operations and Construction Managers to lead projects from concept through execution.
Prepare reports and lead special projects for Senior Management as needed.
Work closely with the Compliance Department to ensure accurate, timely regulatory data collection and reporting.
Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with specific expertise in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG)
Proven project management and contractor oversight capabilities
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Familiarity with state Low Carbon Fuel Standards and federal renewable fuel programs strongly preferred
Knowledge of natural gas scheduling is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
