Embedded Software Engineer

An exciting opportunity to join a pioneering company. We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Test to design and implement automated test infrastructure for embedded software and hardware, with a special focus on an innovative propulsion system.

In this role, you’ll develop deep insight into how complex systems operate—and how to stress-test them to achieve exceptional reliability. You’ll work closely with collaborative, cross-functional teams and contribute to a mission-driven organization advancing sustainable mobility.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) automated test infrastructure for embedded systems

Partner with software and system owners to understand system design and behavior

Collaborate across engineering disciplines to define test coverage requirements

Create and execute test plans to ensure functionality and safety standards are met

Investigate test failures and document issues clearly for resolution

Support hands-on testing in lab and field environments

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience testing software or firmware

Strong experience with embedded systems test infrastructure

Proficiency with C/C++ programming

Experience with test automation and continuous integration

Solid knowledge of CAN bus systems

Background working on safety-critical systems

Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in collaborative environments
