SAP IBP/OBP Lead

This is a short-term assignment requiring strong OBP experience, customer-facing skills, and leadership capabilities.

The candidate is expected to travel to the client location (most likely Dallas) for at least three consecutive weeks, ideally 4 to 5 days per week.

Lead Implementation & Rollout:

Drive the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP IBP modules, especially Order-Based Planning (OBP), aligning with business goals and supply chain strategies.

Business Process Design:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand demand, supply, and inventory processes and translate them into optimized IBP solutions, including demand planning, supply planning, and response planning.

Configuration & Customization:

Configure IBP modules including OBP, Heuristics, and Supply Optimizer; manage custom key figures, planning views, and integration models using CPI-DS or SDI.

Integration & Data Management:

Ensure seamless data flow between IBP and ECC/S4HANA or external systems via SAP CPI, SDI, or other middleware platforms.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

Lead cross-functional teams, provide guidance to consultants, and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT and business functions.

Training & Change Management:

Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and support change management initiatives to drive user adoption and process alignment.

Performance Monitoring & Support:

Monitor planning runs, troubleshoot OBP-related issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents, enhancements, and performance tuning.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of design, configurations, and test cases; ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
