A reputable client is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in construction transactions for their Houston office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, with prior engineering or related technical experience preferred. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate construction-related contracts for large-scale energy, mining, and infrastructure projects.

Handle projects generally ranging in value from $500 million to over $20 billion.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Utilize engineering or related technical experience to inform contract negotiations and project management.

Provide technical insights and solutions to complex construction-related issues.

Work on projects located around the world, requiring a global perspective and understanding of international construction standards and practices.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
