Project Manager

Since our founding in 1995, we have evolved into one of the premier Dry Utility Design firms on the West Coast. Our company takes pride in providing a wide range of joint trench and lighting design services on projects ranging from small single lot services to large multi-family, mixed-use or apartment projects and everything in between. We are currently recruiting for a Full Time experienced Project Manager. This position would ideally be located in our Rancho Cordova or Pleasanton offices working on projects in the Bay Area and Sacramento. This is a fast paced position working with multiple developers (big and small) in Northern California.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and coordinate dry utility systems for Residential, Multifamily and commercial developments.

Lead a team to design Intents, Composites, Electric, Gas and Street Lighting Designs for utility approval through to construction.

Design technical drawings in compliance with PG&E or applicable utility company.

Coordinate with all utility providers for Composite Design - PG&E, SMUD, SVP, Cable and Telecom.

Ability to read civil, landscape, architectural plans for use of Joint Trench Design.

Ability to read and utilize maps from utility companies for design.

Collaborate well with all members of design team (client, civil, architect, landscape and utility companies) and be available for meetings/site visits.

Manage calendar, meetings, billings and movement of projects between internal departments with efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience in the coordination/design of Dry Utility Design plans in California.

Working experience with PG&E and a strong proficiency in understanding PG&E standards/Greenbook.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Working knowledge of Excel, Adobe, Blue Beam, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Must have an understanding of underground construction.

Strong problem solving skills and ability to take a proactive approach on designs and coordination.

Attention to detail is a must.
