To support this growth, we’re seeking a talented Android Developer who will lead Android app development and actively contribute to Full Stack Development initiatives across our platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on products that save lives, improve emergency response time, and maintain 99.999% uptime in mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has proven experience developing and maintaining mobile applications, expertise in front-end and back-end systems, is an excellent communicator and manager, displays great attention to detail, and is highly organized.

Key Responsibilities

Android Development (Primary Focus)

Design, develop, test, and publish Android applications with a focus on performance, stability, and user experience.

Ensure applications work across diverse devices, screen sizes, and Android OS versions.

Implement new features in collaboration with Product and Design teams, delivering timely and high-quality releases.

Maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient codebases.

Self-test, resolve application bugs and performance bottlenecks through proactive debugging and testing.

Integrate back-end services and Bluetooth BLE functionality.

Keep pace with the latest trends, libraries, and best practices in Android development.

Work closely with development team and conduct joint code reviews.

Full Stack Development (Support Role)

Assist in building and maintaining full stack applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Java, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.

Support deployment of solutions on cloud infrastructure platforms.

Develop and validate software systems using tools such as Junit and Katalon.

Contribute to integration efforts using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitFlow, Bitbucket, Unix scripting).

Familiarity with databases (e.g. PostgresSQL, Firebase), web servers (e.g. Apache), and UI/UX design

Requirements

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of hands-on Android development experience.

Proficiency in Kotlin, with deep familiarity with Android Studio and the Android SDK.

Experience working with REST APIs, Bluetooth BLE, and push notification services.

Solid understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices.

Familiar with source control and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket).

Understanding of cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud) and deployment automation.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Proven experience working within Agile software development methodologies.

Collaborate in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning and team ceremonies.

Utilize Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence for documentation and project tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with high-reliability applications in mission-critical environments.

Knowledge of back-end technologies, databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), and microservices.

Familiarity with real-time systems, including WebRTC, SRTP, and SIP protocols.

Exposure to machine learning and AI integration in mobile applications.

Comfortable with full development lifecycle, including Google Play release management.
