The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with project direction, planning, completion, and financial outcome. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
Administer and track submittals, RFIs, issue logs and other project management tools.
Write, distribute meeting minutes and facilitate OAC meetings.
Create and process change orders and pay requisitions (Owners and Subs) after reviewing with PM.
Reviews and coordinates submittals.
Assist PM in all aspects of construction administration and coordination.
Take lead on smaller projects.
Assist with Estimating as needed.
Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Proficient in CMIC.
Proficient in Bluebeam.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Understands MS Project.
Ability to develop and update schedules.
Strong ability to conduct meetings efficiently with clear agendas.
Strong ability to review and process submittals.
Strong ability to review and process RFIs.
Strong ability to review and process proposals/change orders.
Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
Understands construction means and methods.
Understands estimating and capable of developing estimates for change orders and small projects.
Required Experience:
College degree - in the construction/engineering/architecture field desired and 2-4+ years in construction
OR
high school diploma w/ 6-8+ years with field experience.
