The job description is for a competent Nurse who practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks.
The responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, assessing learning needs, and educating patients.
The core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, managing patient flow, overseeing unit operations, ensuring safe practice and quality care, and complying with regulations.
Technical competencies include following clinical standards, health information documentation, handling medical equipment, processing medical orders, reading patient charts, and ensuring patient safety.
The job requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competency validations, and certifications in STABLE and NRP.
The work schedule is PRN.
