The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) is responsible for maintaining the historic character of Capitol Square while providing for the health, safety and convenience of those who work in and visit the complex. CSRAB is charged with interpreting the role of Ohio's Statehouse in national and Ohio history, to celebrate its art and architecture and to highlight its ongoing impact on the daily lives of Ohioans and thereby inspire all Ohioans to participate in state government.
Statehouse Mission
The mission of the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board is to facilitate the operation of state government, preserve the historical integrity of the Capitol Square Complex and educate visitors about the history of Ohio and civics.
Will occasionally work outside exposed to all weather conditions.
May be exposed to dirt, dust, fumes & noise.
Hours will center around evenings and weekends.
Provides excellent customer service to visitors utilizing the Statehouse Underground Parking Garage; directs visitors to proper destinations & provides information to drivers; directs parking & traffic for special events; demonstrates cash handling prowess if pay-on-foot machines are not operating or during special event parking; performs custodial duties in the garage; maintains parking facility equipment as needed; other duties as assigned.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking English; 6 months training or 6 months experience in public relations; valid driver's license. Or equivalent qualifications for employment noted above.
