Automotive Maintenance Technician

Pomeroy Living is seeking a full-time Renovation/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will involve traveling between our seven SE Michigan locations (Sterling Heights, Northville, Rochester Hills, and Lake Orion) to perform renovations and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks, including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and minor plumbing and electrical work.

Assist with apartment turnovers, preparing units for new residents.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Assist with other maintenance projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience in general maintenance, carpentry, or a related field preferred.

Ability to read and write.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
