Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Newton, NC

Shift/Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday

Pay: $17/HR

Do you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team that values quality and sustainability? We’re looking for a Cart Teardown & Repair Team Member to help us recycle, repair, and restore shopping carts back to their best shape!

What You’ll Be Doing:

You'll play a key role in the cart restoration process, including:

Removing plastic parts and sorting wheels, casters, and components for recycling and reuse

Inspecting carts for damage to wires, tubes, and flat metal parts

Performing basic repairs on bent or broken components

Tagging carts for welding or further repair

Removing wheels and casters and staging carts for further processing

Reporting quantities and organizing components by model

Unloading trailers, sorting incoming carts, and operating equipment like the shot blaster and pressure washer

Spot welding as needed and keeping your workspace clean and safe

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma or GED

Comfortable following instructions and working both independently and as part of a team

Basic mechanical understanding and willingness to learn new skills

Safety Comes First:

Eye, ear, foot, and protective clothing must be worn on the job. A voluntary N95 respirator is also available for certain tasks.
