The technologist will rotate every third weekend to first shift from 07:00 to 15:30.
Candidates must be available for rotating call during the week and call on a shift during the weekend.
Overnight call is required as well as rotating holidays as needed.
The primary responsibility will be MRI coverage.
The technologist is expected to assist the CT department when no MRI exams are scheduled.
Experience in handling STAT or urgent cases is preferred.
The daily caseload is approximately 35-40 cases per day.
The working setting includes outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level 1 Trauma, and teaching hospital environments.
General skills experience required includes IV starts, EKGs, PACS, and contrast administration.
MRI procedure experience should encompass abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), perfusion, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 weighted images, and T-2 weighted images.
Experience with documentation in EPIC is preferred.
All candidates must comply with the Ohio fingerprinting process and complete fingerprinting urgently upon signing the contract.
References are required, including at least one from a manager or someone in a formal leadership capacity.
Candidates currently outside the state but within driving distance must drive to a fingerprinting location as soon as possible.
Travelers who are located at an extreme distance will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail.
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Orientation consists of 24 hours.
