Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Scheduler to join our team on a contract basis in Cheshire, Connecticut. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing caregiver staffing and recruitment processes to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client care. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staffing across three office locations, ensuring all client shifts are adequately covered.

• Respond promptly to last-minute caregiver callouts and secure replacements with relevant experience to maintain high standards of care.

• Utilize scheduling tools such as SanData, Accesscare, and Excel/Google Sheets to manage and track caregiver schedules.

• Recruit, screen, and interview caregiver candidates, including CNAs, to build a strong and reliable workforce.

• Conduct twice-weekly orientation sessions to onboard new caregivers and train them on company policies and care standards.

• Maintain accurate records of caregiver credentials, certifications, and compliance with work eligibility requirements.

• Manage background checks and ensure all candidates meet federal, state, and company regulatory standards.

• Prepare employment verification letters and other required documentation to support compliance and HR processes.

• Track and analyze caregiver staffing data using spreadsheets to identify coverage gaps and improve scheduling efficiency.

• Address client concerns regarding staffing or caregiver availability with professionalism and effective communication.• A minimum of 3 years of experience in staffing, scheduling, or a related human resources role.

• Proficiency in using tools such as SanData, Accesscare, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets for scheduling and data management.

• Strong background in caregiver recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

• Familiarity with conducting background checks and maintaining compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage dynamic scheduling challenges.

• Effective communication and customer service skills to resolve client and caregiver concerns.

• Experience with HRIS or other human resources software is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of home care or healthcare industry practices and standards is a plus.
