We are looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategies and optimize sourcing processes in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing various procurement categories, driving cost-saving initiatives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for indirect procurement categories, including IT, HR, marketing, and facility management.

• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and streamline processes.

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Drive continuous improvement in procurement operations through the use of tools like SAP and other systems.

• Manage budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines during procurement activities.

• Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform purchasing decisions and strategies.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.• Extensive experience in indirect procurement, including strategic sourcing and contract management.

• Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.

• Proven expertise in handling procurement categories such as IT, HR, marketing, and detail-oriented services.

• Demonstrated success in implementing cost-saving initiatives and achieving financial targets.

• Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, including SAP.

• Knowledge of budget and buying processes, as well as customer service principles.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills to drive effective procurement strategies.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and communicate with stakeholders.
