Level-2 Linux Support Engineer

Robert Half is looking for a Leve-2 Linux support engineer for a one year long contracting role with our client in San Jose, CA

Responsibilities.

• Administer and support RHEL Linux systems in enterprise environments

• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot NFS services across multiple environments

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates of Linux operating systems

• Implement and maintain system security according to organizational standards

• Monitor system performance and capacity, making recommendations for improvements

• Create and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures

• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new applications and services

• Provide Level 1-2 technical support for Linux-related issues
