Low Voltage Technician

Training will be provided for candidates new to the skillset!

POSITION GOAL: Perform skilled duties in the design, maintenance, repair and installation of Data Center low voltage systems. Assist with in-shop repairs of various types of electronic and electrical equipment.

Essential Duties:

1. Install, troubleshoot, test and repair of low voltage systems (i.e LAN; PA, CCTV, CCATV, Intercom).

2. Install, troubleshoot, test and repair of CCTV, control circuits, conduits and duct systems, light and power circuits appliances, generators, fans, servers, fixtures, and media equipment.

3. Analyze load size circuits, raceways, and panel capacities and read blue print schematics.

4. Install necessary interior and exterior wiring for equipment and servers.

6. Terminate, label, and dress cabling in a organized fashion

7. Attend training, workshops, in-services, and continuing education as requested by the department supervisor.

8. Assist in the training of other personnel in the department.

9. Maintain records on work performed.

10. Maintain inventory of stock

11. Preform physical requirements unaided or with reasonable accommodations.

12. Maintain regular and prompt attendance in the work place
