Cyber Security Instructor

Job Description

We are looking for a entry level Cyber Security Instructor to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with high school students while advancing your expertise in cybersecurity. Candidates will also have the option to pursue a cybersecurity certification through our partnership program.

Responsibilities: • Collaborate with high school students to teach and inspire them about cybersecurity principles and practices. • Develop and maintain configuration management processes to support a secure infrastructure. • Provide guidance and mentorship to students while maintaining a safe and organized environment.• Basic understanding or foundational knowledge of cybersecurity and relevant technologies. • Familiarity with firewall technologies like Checkpoint and Cisco ASA. • Experience with Cisco and cloud technologies, including AWS. • Strong communication skills and comfort working with high school students. • Interest in pursuing a cybersecurity certification is a plus. • Availability to start promptly and meet onboarding requirements.
