Job Title: Shop Helper in Hayward
Job Description
The Shop Helper will work closely with and assist the Operators and production lines. Helpers will follow the company's processes and standards of safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Check rolls for treat, width, and any physical abnormalities.
Fold and store samples from each roll produced, accurately labeling them with job numbers.
Print finished good tags and label appropriate rolls and pallets.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality of the product, machines, and facility by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Participate in daily Preventive Maintenance activities.
Complete maintenance work orders for equipment in need of repair.Essential Skills
Must have 1+ year of manufacturing/production experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts/Alternative Work Schedule.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production, packaging, machine operating, inspection, manufacturing environment, production line, visual inspection, palletizing, labeling, wrapping, general labor.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Very clean manufacturing facility with 3 plastic extrusion machines operating 24/7. Team of about 15-20 employees in the facility.

This is a position based out of Hayward, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
