Job Title: Touch Up Operator

Job Description

We are looking for two Touch Up Operators for our electronics manufacturing environment, available for both day and swing shifts. The Touch Up Operator will perform hand soldering and de-soldering operations in line assembly of components, with a focus on soldering defects repair, wiring, trace-cut, and lead-cut tasks. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a disciplined and organized work station in accordance with 5S principles.

Responsibilities

Perform hand soldering and de-soldering operations in line assembly of components.

Conduct soldering and desoldering of PTH & SMT components.

Repair soldering defects in line.

Carry out wiring, trace-cut, and lead-cut tasks.

Maintain 5S discipline in the working station.Essential Skills

Understanding of all work instructions.

Basic electronics, solder, and component knowledge.

Familiarity with IPC-610 and J-standard 001 is a plus.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a HL or Prep Operator Lead in an electronics manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of ISO 9001.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
