Position & Assignment Purpose :
We are hiring a Software Engineer, She/He will be part of the Customer Success Engineering team.
This Software expert position involves providing Rolling Wireless product expertise, system integrationknowledge, software design skills and troubleshooting capabilities to customers. The person will be responsible for helping to design Car OEMs and Tier 1s telematics applications, providing SW support during the entire program duration and ensuring to the customer the best performances of their applications.
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work :
Customer Software System Integration :
- Be the software (SW) technical expert in front of the customers during the integration phase of Rolling
wireless products, providing software design suggestion and analyzing the main issues faced during
this phase.
- Work in close relationship with Customers R&D team.
- Troubleshooting support to ensure the customer application will be ready on schedule and with
expected Quality level.
- Investigate issues reported by customers in close collaboration with RWS R&D SW engineers to make
sure the most optimized solution will be provided to customers.
- Set pertinent reproduction scenarios of the behaviors reported by the customer to understand the
potential issues with the design.
- Communicate investigation progress at regular intervals to the Customer and Customer Project
Manager.
- Provide detailed explanations to the customer of what the problem was, and which solution has been
implemented.
Advanced Engineering :
- Define PoC (Proof of Concepts) showcasing different capabilities of Rolling Wireless products and be
the technical reference showcasing them in front of customers or Tech Events.
- Create application notes, videos and training material for guiding the customers on key features,
subjects related to wireless technologies and Rolling Wireless SW solutions.
- Provide RWS product and SW system architecture knowledge participating in RFI/RFQ phases when
discussing with new potential customers.
Continuous improvement:
- Based on project experience, update/create all relevant documentation to prevent customers facing
similar issues in the future.
- Closely collaborate with internal R&D and Product marketing to improve product documentation and
suggest changes/improvements in the different products proposed in Rolling Wireless portfolio.

Desired Education, Experience, and Competencies :
- Knowledge in telecom system (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) and telecom specificities (VolTE/VoNR, QoS, IMS, ).
- Knowledge in security and vulnerability management logic of Linux systems.
- Knowledge in GNSS solution.
- Knowledge in WLAN solution.
- Knowledge in V2X solution.
- Knowledge in Bluetooth solution.
- knowledge in eCall and NGeCall solutions.
