Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Development Chef, located in Chennai. The Product Development Chef will be responsible for creating new recipes, ensuring food quality, and overseeing food preparation processes. This role involves collaborating with the culinary team to innovate and enhance menu offerings, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of food trends, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the chef will manage ingredient sourcing and coordinate with suppliers for high-quality products.
Qualifications
Experience in recipe development, food quality management, and culinary innovation
Strong knowledge of current food trends and culinary techniques
Ability to oversee food preparation processes and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience in ingredient sourcing and supplier coordination
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
Previous experience in a similar role within the F&B industry is highly desirable
