Do you want to learn how to machine parts? Do you want to understand how a manufacturing lab environment is run? If so, Roush's Manufacturing Internship may be a fit for you. We're seeking organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Interns for the Summer Internship Program. These positions will support the Prototype Coordination Group and gain exposure and real-world experience within a manufacturing environment. These positions are located in Livonia, MI.

As a Manufacturing Intern, you will:

Package and label finished parts

Load and unload machining parts on different equipment/fixtures

Apply rust prevention application and other methods as needed

Willingness to help the team and learn other areas as neededTo be a Manufacturing Intern, you will need:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Strong desire to understand the manufacturing process

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have proven experience with Microsoft Office

Strong customer service skills and willingness to learn

Detail oriented with strong organizational skillsA successful candidate may also have:

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Willingness to learn introductory level CNC machining or tooling

Previous internship experience
