Job Description
Essential duties
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of precision machined aerospace components in accordance with Customer drawings, operation sheets, inspection method sheets and travelers.
Prior use of CMM and other inspection equipment is required.
Assemble and check all gaging required for production use.
Assure proper signoffs of all travelers.
Maintain neat, accurate quality records
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform all other duties as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent;
Able to read and understand all relevant technical data such as Operation Sheets, drawings and Inspection Method Sheets. Must possess excellent knowledge of gaging systems, measurement techniques, geometric dimensioning / tolerancing and pertinent computer software. Strong interpersonal, technical and organizational skills are required.

Occasionally required to sit, stand, bend, or walk short distances. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This is a second shift position (3:30pm - midnight) with training on the first shift 7am - 3:30pm for several weeks.
10% differential applies when working second shift hours.
