Medical Coder

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Coder to join our team. Individual must be detail oriented, possess excellent organization skills, have a strong work ethic, work well in a team environment. Previous medical coding experience is a must. Prior anesthesia coding experience helpful but not required. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, motivated, and a self starter.

Responsibilities

Assign ICD-10 and CPT ASA code to cases

Perform front end revenue cycle functions along with coding

Maintain patient confidentiality

Be able to meet production deadlinesQualifications

Previous experience with medical coding or billing desired

Strong organization skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability analyze and draw conclusions from information available

Basic to intermediate computer skills
