Machinist CNC Operator

Job Description

Duties:

- Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis CNC machines to perform precision machining operations

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment

- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments

- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including lathes and mills

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their proper use

- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements

- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and tooling used in machining processes

- Experience with Haas and Hurco machines is a plus

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
