Dispensing Optician

Job Description

We are seeking to hire a full time, talented Optician to join our team. If you're hard-working and dedicated, this is a perfect place to grow your career. This is the opportunity you've been looking for. Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 4 hours Saturday. Saturday has a pay bonus of an extra 2 hours paid. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities not limited to

Responsible for working with patients and customers to choose appropriate eyewear

Anticipate and handle patient requests and satisfy their needs to create a welcome environment

Provide top quality customer service

Dispense contact lenses and train new wearers

Verify insurance eligibility and bill insurances

Check in and verify prescription lenses

Be able to adjust and repair eyeglasses

Order lenses and contact lenses for patients

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.

2 years of previous optician experience preferred

Work well and communicate well with patients and coworkers.

Work ethic to continue to meet and surpass office goals
