A well-established underground utilities construction company in Lakeland, FL is looking to hire a Experienced Pipe Layer for Underground Utilities. This role is primarily responsible for supervising the layout, assembly, and installation of various sizes and types of drainpipes, ensuring projects are completed safely and to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the various types of tools, equipment, pipes, and fittings that are used in construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supervises a team of 2-5 pipefitters, or larger group of workers depending on the size of the project

Performs daily inspections of the job sites to ensure a safe working environment

Conducts tests and inspections on water pressure and sewer systems to ensure they meet standards

Operates various pieces of equipment as needed to excavate, install and backfill structures with a pipe

Utilizes a laser level and figures grades to level out projects properly

Communicates with clients and vendors regarding projects and deadlines

Coordinates tasks according to priorities and plans

Installs gravity storm and sewer systems, shoots line, and grades

Reads and understands blueprints and other technical drawings

Reviews and approves employee time reporting

Who We’re Looking For

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Proven experience in the underground utility sector

Proven experience as a foreman and the ability to supervise a crew

Knowledge of a Laser Beam and how to use it properly or surveying

Experience working with sub-contractors

Think and engage as a part of the team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Attention to detail

What You Can Expect

$28.00 - $34.00/hr, depending on experience

Schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm, with early release on Friday

A local well established fulfillment warehouse in Lakeland,FL is seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for outbound shipments and keeping records.

•\tExperience in warehousing

•\tExperience in data entry

•\tAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, manuals and SOP's

•\tAbility to calculate figures and amounts associated with basic math

What You Can Expect

•\t$18 hr

•\tSchedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 5:00pm
