City/StateVirginia Beach, VA Work ShiftFirst (Days) Overview:Sentara Health is hiring a Financial Analyst for the Laboratory Finance Department.
This is a Full-time, 40 hours per week Day shift position Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.
Hybrid.
Assist financial consultants and managers with data mining and analyzing data from multiple sources.
Assist in creating and maintaining reports for business operations and special projects to provide managers and directors with financial information to make strategic and operational decisions.
Assist in obtaining data for use in financial modeling, as well as testing and validation of financial data.
Assist in financial reporting related special projects, tasks, and activities to support the overall department objectives and goals of the system.
EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Health Service Administration required.
MBA preferred.
In lieu of education, 3-5 years experience as a financial analyst or comparable position.
Certification/LicensureCPA preferred.
