Executive Summary
The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University is seeking an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist for its clinical-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. The primary responsibilities of this position will be didactic and clinical education in oral and maxillofacial radiology to students in the college's pre- and post-doctoral dental programs and the dental hygiene program. Other duties include research and scholarly activity, supporting the overall mission of the division, participating in university and college governance, contributing to the college's continuing education programs, and practicing in the college's affiliated intramural Dental Faculty Practice .

Promote evidence-based teaching skills in an education setting and a strong track record of scholarly activity.

Apply advanced technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Participate in didactic and clinical teaching activities consistent with division goals.

May serve as course director which includes preparation and distribution of course materials, management of lecture/laboratory schedules, and conducting and grading of all examinations.
Support a model for dental education that includes the incorporation of innovative technologies, interdisciplinary education and patient care, and evidence-based dentistry.
Provide interdisciplinary mentoring to students.
Demonstrate collaboration between college divisions.
Participation in college and/or university committees.
Membership in professional organizations and contributions to professional activities outside of the university.

Candidates must demonstrate the following required qualifications:
DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree, certificate from a CODA-accredited advanced education program in oral and maxillofacial radiology
Board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at dental.ohio.gov/Licensure/Dentist.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and an MSD, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree. How to Apply
