Kenyon College's Department of Modern Languages and Literatures invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor in Russian.
Area of specialization is open, but preference will be shown to candidates whose research agenda and teaching experience show a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including all levels of language, courses on Russian literature and culture in translation, as well as upper-level electives in their area of specialization.
Teaching load is five courses per year.
Applicants must have a Ph.D.
by time of appointment and native or near-native command of Russian and English.
