CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes.

Change out tooling, clamps, and vices, and perform offsets and zeroing out the machine.

Conduct 1st piece and through-process quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.

Ensure proper gauging is used for the intended job and comprehend blueprints.

Produce precision components in accordance with blueprints.

Perform all necessary part inspections using specified gauging instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.).

Perform setup for new or existing components to be machined.

Obtain necessary tooling for machining processes.Essential Skills

2-5+ years of CNC setup or operating experience.

Proficiency in operating CNC mills or lathes.

Ability to perform quality checks utilizing micrometers, calipers, and various gauges.

Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation.

Experience with quality inspection processes and CNC setup.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
