Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators for both day and night shifts at our facility in St. Paul, MN. The role involves setting up and operating equipment for laminating, cutting, and applying adhesives to paper and plastic products.

Responsibilities

Setup equipment according to job specifications.

Measure, weigh, and mix adhesives before adding them to the machine.

Load and unload products from machines.

Monitor equipment and visually inspect for proper output.

Measure down to 1/16 to ensure products meet customer specifications.

Troubleshoot equipment or product issues on converting and laminating equipment.Essential Skills

Machine operation and adhesive application.

Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.

Experience in packaging and blueprint reading.

Proficiency in setup and troubleshooting of machines.

General labor and production line experience.

Ability to use hand tools and tape measure.Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years operating lamination or converting equipment.

1+ year of setup and operation of laminating and converting equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Work Environment

The work environment is a medium-sized shop with around 20 individuals on the manufacturing floor. Although the building is older and somewhat cluttered, it is clean and heated in the winter. While there is no air conditioning, the company fosters a collaborative and flexible atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAINT PAUL, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
